This clinic was Affordable Hearing and Tinnitus Relief until ihear acquired it on 30th July, 2021. Affordable Hearing and Tinnitus Relief was started in 2012 in Mitchelton to give a fair go to the people of Brisbane (although visitors are very welcome). In 2013 Affordable Hearing joined forces with another independent clinic, Grayson-Riley Audiology to bring quality, independent and affordable hearing advice to our clients.

Customer care isn’t just a catchphrase for us, it’s at the centre of what ihear do and how we operate our clinics. Meeting with your local ihear professional to discuss your hearing concerns, is just the first step towards getting you back to enjoying your life to the fullest. To do this we focus on building a lasting relationship and providing you with ongoing support and advice along your hearing journey.

ihear professionals carefully examine each patient’s whole profile, taking into consideration your individual lifestyle requirements – enabling us to provide you with a personalised solution that will enhance each day and make every experience unique. We offer a range of hearing services from basic tests to complete hearing solutions:

  • Free hearing services for veteran affairs and pension card holders on behalf of the office of hearing services.
  • Diagnostic hearing assessments.
  • Discreet hearing solutions.
  • Rehabilitation programs.
  • Ear protection and swim plugs.
  • Tinnitus relief and management.
  • Hearing aid repairs and batteries.
  • Ear wax removal services.

Paul Dhasmana,
Audiologist

Paul joined Affordable Hearing & Tinnitus Relief in early 2014 and works at the Holland Park and Mitchelton branches.  His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Music (Honours) from the University of Sydney, which led him to a career as a professional classical musician.  An interest in how we hear and ways to improve hearing for those with a hearing loss led him to obtain the Master of Audiology Studies from the University of Queensland.

Paul also has a background in teaching, and this fuelled his interest in central auditory processing in school children.

Additionally he is interested in high quality hearing protection, such as the latest musician’s ear plugs. He is a full member of the Australian Society of Audiologists and holds a current Certificate of Clinical Practice.
