Government funded services
If you think you have a hearing loss, then a quick and easy hearing check is the first step. You can contact any of our clinics or call 1300 015 227 for further information or to receive an OHS information pack.
If you are eligible (see below), it is now easier than ever to access free services via the online Hearing Services Program.
who is eligible?
Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents 21 years or older who are:
- the holder of a Pensioner Concession Card;
- receiving sickness allowance from Centrelink;
- the holder of a Gold Repatriation Health Card (DVA) issued for all conditions;
- the holder of a White Repatriation Health Card (DVA) issued for conditions that include hearing loss;
- a dependent of a person in one of the above categories;
- a member of the Australian Defence Force;
- undergoing an Australian Government funded Vocational Rehabilitation Service and are referred by their service provider
If you wish to have a hearing screening before going through the process, please contact us and we can run you through process once you are in the clinic. You may be recommended to have a full hearing assessment with a hearing specialist after your initial hearing check. This assessment lets us accurately measure your hearing and find the best strategy to help.
If you are eligible for the Australian Government Hearing Services Program, this assessment is also free of charge.
The Hearing Services Program gives you access to hearing services and devices to assist with hearing loss.
seeing your doctor
Before your assessment appointment with us, you’ll need to visit your doctor to have a Medical Certificate form signed.
Once your doctor has signed the Medical Certificate form, you’ll need to contact us to book your appointment. You will need to provide us with your signed Medical Certificate form.
Once you have a doctors referral, simply bring that along to your appointment and we can immediately apply online for your hearing services voucher.

Our "Top-Up" service allows you to upgrade to a higher specification of hearing instrument by simply paying the difference between your government funded voucher and our registered retail price.
Private patients may be eligible to claim back a portion of the cost of their hearing instrument(s) from their private health fund. For more information contact your health fund.
