Use and care
It is important that you use and care for your hearing instruments correctly. Below, you'll find some valuable tips for keeping your device at its peak level of performance.
- Cleaning: Carefully use the small brush provided with your hearing instrument every day to remove earwax or other particles that may have accumulated anywhere on the hearing instrument. Never use solvents, cleaning fluids, oil, or water to clean your hearing instrument.
- Battery life: When not in use, open your hearing instruments battery compartment doors so the batteries are not in contact with any internal components. This will prolong battery life.
- Water: Make sure you keep your hearing instruments dry. Don’t shower, swim, or use hairspray with them inserted in the ear.
- Storage: Keep hearing instruments in a clean, dry place – such as a plastic pouch. Again, be sure to open battery doors when not in use to preserve battery life.
